The club welcomes people who have an interest in classic motorcycles; those being motorcycles 25 years old or older. You may also  join the club without owning a classic bike.

August Midweek Ride 2017

Despite a very foggy and cold morning fifteen enthusiastic riders turned up to our first 9:30 for a 10:00am Midweek ride start at the Calder BP servo. This life changing for some, one hour later start was initiated by John Best our secretary and leader for the day. Was it a success?

I first met Barry in early 1977 at the General Motors-Holden plant in Dandenong after recently graduating and being promoted from a trainee chemist at ICI Fibremakers to a Technical Officer in the MetalChem Division of ICI Dulux.

Well it wasn’t a “shed “ run this time as its getting harder to find new sheds to visit, but a fairly long 220km route brilliantly worked out by leader Doug over the back roads of the Baccus Marsh and Ballan area to a favourite café in the little township of Gordon.

Geelong Chapter Run Report - First Sunday of the Month 02/07/2017:

Who complains about winter weather? After respectful negotiation with the Great Rider, Sunday morning broke clear and sunny at 0*C.

The presence of frost as far as you could see across the paddocks hardly deterred ten hardy Geelong riders who set off towards the Surf Coast in fine spirits. Exhausts sounded crisp in the clear cold air as we travelled up through Ceres to Cochrane’s Road.
