An overcast but otherwise fine late Autumn day with no wind to speak of, greeted 30 plus riders for our second Tri-annual T.A.R.T. run.
MIDWEEK RIDE REPORT WEDNESDAY 3rd MAY 2017
Meeting point was the Caltex servo next to Tram Stop Garden Supplies in Greensborough. When I arrived there were already three others there. It looked like a Triumph rally at this point but as others arrived there was a good mix of Brit/Asian, Euro & Jap bikes out for a great ride on what was shaping up to be a lovely sunny day.
Thirteen riders and one pillion met at the BP Servo Rockbank for our club ride to Maldon.
The morning was warm with threatening skies, so most opted for wet weather gear.........
Not having ridden for a couple of weeks it was great to unwrap the BM and head east into the rising sunlight to meet the ride at Officer on the M1 Pakenham Bypass. We were all encouraged by the forecast of good weather and although the early morning air was cool, conditions later in the day bordered on hot. Before leaving we admired Kay’s new Triumph shining in the early morning sun.......
