This letter is addressed to the club members who attended the club ride organised by Jack Youdan on the 20th June, 2010. I am offering my apology for the insensitive comments made by my navigator Ross Patrick, regarding riding conditions for most of the day. I felt quite embarrassed as he continually baited the participants at every stop after you had just battled extreme weather.
I must admit it was quite cosy in the heated Subaru, but this was no excuse for his behaviour. You all know he is a larrikin, and I will try to keep a better hold on him next time. We did have a lovely warm drive though, and we were just praying that nobody broke down, because we would have got wet, just like you! Like the true blue club members you are, this did not eventuate and we were both thankful that you all arrived home safely.
Once again, please accept my apology for Ross.
PS. Thanks to Jack for organising a fantastic, but wet ride and a big thank you to Dot and Richard Sommerville for their hospitality in Yea.
