The above words certainly describes it all, a one off “Triumph TT Special”. Tom purchased the bike, if it could be called that (a bike) as rolling basket case, two wheels, frame and the rest was a box of bits and now as he looks back he says a wrecked basket case was the ultimate description.
Tom then set about to build a bike that was different to the everyday run of the mill machine and he certainly succeeded in that, in 1991 the work began! Click on photo to enlarge
The motor: all alloy,720cc with a Rickman 8 valve head and Morgo steel conrods,TSS camshafts,Boyer electronic ignition
Primary drive :T140 triplex ,clutch is fitted with extra plates
Wheels are akront alloy and stainless steel spokes with a T160 hub in the rear
Fuel tank is a 5 gallon alloy production racing tank and seat to match.
Fairing is a Dunstall with Magura solid clip-ons
Paint work by Gal Smash Repairs
Pinstriping and Signwriting by Custom Signs
Exhaust system was made by Tom and really finishes the bike off.
